The Four Skills

Prepare for every part of IELTS.

The programme can support IELTS Academic or General Training. Lesson time is weighted toward the skills and task types that need the most improvement.

Listening

Follow key information, anticipate answer types, manage distractors and practise listening accurately under test conditions.

Reading

Improve skimming, scanning, close reading, time management and the ability to distinguish the writer's meaning from tempting distractors.

Writing

Analyse the task, organise ideas, develop a clear response and improve grammar, vocabulary, cohesion and accuracy through focused feedback.

Speaking

Develop fuller answers, clearer organisation, vocabulary range and more natural interaction while maintaining intelligible pronunciation.

Test strategy

Learn when to move on, how to allocate time, how to read instructions carefully and how to avoid preventable test-management errors.

Error analysis

Use practice results to identify recurring language and task problems so preparation becomes targeted rather than repetitive.

How Preparation Works

Strategy and language development work together.

IELTS techniques can help you use the English you have more effectively, but they cannot replace stronger English. Lessons therefore combine both.

Establish the starting point

Use your English assessment, IELTS experience and target to identify priority skills and realistic preparation needs.

Understand the task

Learn what each task requires, where candidates commonly lose time or clarity, and what an effective response needs to achieve.

Build the language

Work on grammar, vocabulary, organisation, comprehension or pronunciation where those gaps limit performance.

Practise under pressure

Move from supported exercises into timed tasks and realistic sections of the test.

Review patterns

Use feedback and error analysis to decide what should be practised next instead of simply completing more tests.
